Spitting Distance Pictures (also known as Team Spitting) features a small but diverse group of a predominantly women cast and crew. Our team also includes those with visible, hidden and or medical disabilities, those from the BIPOC, API/ AAPI and LGBTQIA2S+ communities
Our cast and crew are those who are generally under-represented in film and television.
Team Spitting frequently participates in the 48 Hour Film Project.
We will make our 30th 48HFP in October 2025 when we participate in the
Seattle Horror 48HFP.
Our team made it's first 48HFP film, Hitkids, in Seattle, 2010, where we won the award for Best Music, thanks to Moby for lending us his music via MobyGratis.
We have been fortunate to work with some legends in the film and music world - from actors you recognize from the screen to Grammy winning music artists.
