​​Spitting Distance Pictures (also known as Team Spitting) features a small but diverse group of a predominantly women cast and crew. Our team includes those with visible, hidden and or medical disabilities, People of Color, People from the the AAPI community and those from the LGBTQIA2S+ community.

Team Spitting frequently participates in the 48 Hour Film Project.

We will make our 28th 48HFP in August 2025 when we participate in the

Seattle 48HFP.

Our team made it's first 48HFP film, Hitkids, in Seattle, 2010, where we won the award for Best Music, thanks to Moby for lending us his music via MobyGratis.

We have been fortunate to work with some legends in the film and music world - from actors you recognize from the screen to Grammy winning music artists.
