LOCATION REQUEST
Hi!
:)
My name is Indus Alelia. I am an award winning filmmaker. I live in Seattle.

I am participating in the Seattle 48 Hour Film Project (48HFP) the weekend of July 11-13, 2025. I am interested in filming at your location during that time.

This will be my 29th 48HFP. You can see my laurels and awards here: spittingdistancepictures.com

The 48HFP requires all cast and crew to be volunteers. This puts all filmmaking teams on even ground and makes for a fair challenge.

My small team (of 7 people) is respectful, professional and we all have excellent reputations in the film world.

HOW THE 48HFP WORKS
- Each team has 48 hours to write, shoot and edit a short film.
- On Friday (7-11-25) at 7pm, the team leader (me) receives a genre at random.
- Our team writer will write a script on Friday night.
- We will film on Saturday (7-12-24)
- Saturday night - Sunday afternoon, the film is edited.
- The film is turned in on Sunday evening by 7pm (7-13-25) to be “on time” and qualify for potential awards.
- The Seattle screening will be at the SIFF Uptown Theater in July 2025
- Winning films will show at Filmapalooza 2026 and have a chance to go on to the Cannes Film Festival.

NON-INVASIVE FILMING
Team Spitting practices “non-invasive filming” which means we have small and limited gear. We film on iPhones and use portable ring lights. This ensures we are able to respect the property and keep a clean and tidy location.

Although we are required to keep the film cast and crew (and locations) volunteer, I would be happy to pay the cleaning fee for the space.
